Can I buy just one sand wedge to match my set?

Yes. Every sand wedge here is sold on its own, so you can replace one lost or broken club without buying a new set.

How do I match a replacement sand wedge to the rest of my set?

Match the make and model first, then the shaft: steel or graphite, and its flex, such as regular or stiff. Most listings give the shaft and flex in the title. On a Ping sand wedge, match the colour dot as well, because it shows the lie angle the club was built to.

What is the difference between pitching, gap, sand and lob wedges?

Loft. A pitching wedge has the least, usually in the mid 40s of degrees; gap wedges sit around 50 to 52 degrees, sand wedges around 54 to 56 and lob wedges around 58 to 60. Check the loft stamped on your other wedges so the gaps between them stay even.
