This is A One of the most important Golf clubs that any serious collector needs to own. Back in 1931 while fling with Howard Hughes Gene Sarazon invented the Sand Wedge. The idea came from the flaps on the wings of the aircraft. This is an original Gene Sarazon Sand Wedge with the original shaft of the day. Steel with a plastic coating to look like Hickory. Later the design was sold to Wilson and produced as the Wilson Staff R90 Gene Sarazon Sand Wedge. The club is all original with a poor grip and Butt. The club will require a sympathetic clean up. Who knows how much a club like this is really worth. many serious collections dont have one.

Since the 1990’s We have been actively collecting and dealing in Vintage Golf Clubs and Golf Memorabilia. Among our stock of over 100 collectable Golf Books there are many first editions of the must have books. Titles like Taylor on Golf uk first edition and My Golfing Life first edition by Harry Vardon. There are also some very interesting old collectable Golf Balls, Bag Tags and smaller items like Pitch Repair Tools and collectable Ball Markers.
